Abstract

|
The Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) has been used most world-widely in multiple sclerosis clinical trials and out-patient for follow-up status. This scale depend on the standard full neurologic examination, therefore the scale has poor intra and inter-rater reliability if the examiners are not skillful. It is important that understand the precise definition and apply correct neurologic examination to the patients. We described how to properly approach to the EDSS in detail.
